This will take me EONS to ink because I am having issues following my own lines, but I want to talk about my newest drawing anyways. I entitle this drawing Alice Through The Looking Glass, which gives all of you well-read Deviants an idea about its contents. It depicts, obviously, Alice from the story Alice through the Looking Glass, more commonly known as Alice in Wonderland. Alice has her eyes closed, leaning against a giant Cheshire Cat with her arm holding onto the cat. One side of the background is a normal field, green grass and blue sky. The other side of the background is a brightly colored toadstool forest. These backgrounds are split by a golden border, representing the side of a mirror, with a glare on the toadstool side because it is through the looking glass.

I had a lot of fun designing Alice's outfit, a variation of the traditional blue and white Alice dress. The neckline is a slight v-neck that starts at the curve of her shoulders, the white collar with lace falling down from that neckline. There is a corset with several pendants attached to the bottom, but I have not decided what type of pendants to draw. There are petticoats under the skirt, and she wears knee high boots that have straps and chains on them. It sounds pretty simple, but I really like the details.

My favorite detail, however, is her necklace. It is a buckled choker collar with a chain that winds around her arm, draping around the Cheshire Cat's paws until it rests under the Cat's claws.

It sounds a little silly, but I really like to talk about something that I just drew.
